Here, I’m hoping to highlight some of the information/resources out there for dykes. there are plenty of porno pages for the men who want to see ‘dykes in action’, but as we know, they aren’t intended for a real dyke audience. we like sex too! i hope you will find some of these links of interest..

nifty.org:

The page i’ve linked to from here contains a huge archive of lesbian
erotica, all sorted into categories for your convenience! some are really good and some are average, but it’s definitely worth a look.

susie bright:
The official webpage of ’susie sexpert’. susie is bisexual and has written various books on sex - both straight and lesbian. here she explains why she writes and there’s some good content here.

Gaydar Girls:

The most popular online dating site for lesbians in the Uk. There are now two account options - paid or free. With the free account, you can only look at a certain number of profiles per day, and only reply to a limited number of messages.

The Pink Sofa:
This site is a very good way to meet new women online. You can get a few days free trial, and if you like it, then you will have to pay the subscription. In my opinion, it’s worth it. You get messages, instant messaging, customer support, and can pay by credit card or paypal. It’s an international site, but there are lots of women from the U.K on there.

Shoe:
A different concept. You’re classified by what shoes you wear. But it seems to work for a lot of people. They also have the option to join a mailing list. Lots of ladies looking for new friends rather than relationships.

Site by a lesbian pagan. interesting. has links to other pagan/lesbian sites and is filled with the author’s thoughts etc. not bad.

Mainly only relevant to london, but if you’re in the capital this site has listings for bars, events, groups and where to find support and new friends.

lesbian uk:
U.k. site listing events, support groups and various bits of info for lesbians.

lesbian.com:
American based, but has a huge database of lesbian links sorted into
categories. you’ll probably find anything you’re looking for here…

planet out :
Huge site dedicated to gay and lesbian lifestyle. includes personals,
shopping, links, and lgbt news daily.

gay uk:
Mega site with info and links on almost everything. mainly catering for
gay men, but there’s plenty of info relevant to dykes too.

diva:
The uk lesbian magazine

libertas!:
The uk lesbian bookstore online.
